Emma completed a Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), whilst working as a Paralegal from 2007 at Christopher Edwards Solicitors & Accountants, doing Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Conveyancing, Tax Law and Accounting.

Emma was admitted as a solicitor in 2012 whilst she was working at the NSW Supreme Court as a Legal Researcher to the Honourable Associate Justices Hallen (as his Honour then was), Macready and Harrison, and Tipstaff to the Honourable Justices Davies and Garling at the NSW Supreme Court.

Emma worked as a solicitor at KPMG, Speed & Stracey Lawyers and Teece Hodgson & Ward doing Tax Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Disputes.

Emma completed a Master of Laws (majoring in Wills and Estates) in 2022.

Emma is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a Registered Trusts & Estates Practitioner (TEP). STEP is an international professional body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning.

Founding Principal Ron Winter

Ron Winter was practising as a solicitor for almost 40 years. Ron completed his SAB at the University of Sydney in 1980. Ron founded Riemer Winter & Williamson in 1985. Riemer Winter & Williamson expanded to become one of the largest legal practices in Penrith. Ron specialised in Property Law, Business and Corporate Law and Estate Law.

Ron was the former President of the Nepean Hawkesbury Law Society from 1986 to 1990. Ron also gained accreditation as a Specialist in Property Law with the Law Society of New South Wales in 1999.

Ron specialised in Property Law, Business Law, Corporate Law and Estate Law. Ron acted for Australian banks and lending institutions, not for profit organisations, sporting bodies and large developers.

In 2010 Ron formed Ron Winter Legal, a boutique legal practice priding itself on providing straightforward legal advice.

Community

Emma is passionate about giving back to the community, particularly through supporting local businesses and charities.

Emma supports charities events such as RSPCA Million Paw Walk, RSPCA Cupcake Day and Share the Dignity.

Emma supports local businesses through sponsorships and donations.

Emma supports the local community by sponsoring events.

Emma provides pro bono work to many clients.
